The Kiss Kube
Kiss has redefined the way radio stations deliver mobile streaming. The new Kiss Kube mobile application is the first radio app to offer both 'listen live' and 'listen again' on demand content, beating commercial and BBC radio to the honour.
Kiss have already had a presence on iPhone and iPod touch with their web based application, but the new native application will allow listeners to stream almost all Kiss programming on-demand. Now our listeners can take all of Kiss with them, wherever the go.
Kiss Kube mobile will also offer visualisation to the player, keeping listeners up-to-date with the latest insight, offers and competitions from Kiss. On top of that the app integrates social media tools, allowing listeners to tweet or facebook their status whilst listening to Kiss.
Users can listen to on demand content by show, genre, name or from the last 7 days of programming as well as highlighted feature shows. With device features such as swiping, users can easily navigate and access content.
The Kiss Kube is the first in the UK to offer 'background listening' allowing users to break out of the application and continue listening to Kiss via Safari. The app also provides 'in-app' web browsing and emailing allowing users to access DJ blogs as well as contact DJ's in the studio. All this in just one app. Even if we do say so ourselves, we're proud to spoil our listeners by being ahead of the game.
